How to hard reset the Samsung Galaxy Note 2
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a popular Android device because of the way it blends the needs of both smart phone and tablet users. When you encounter issues with this phone or simply want to remove your personal information from it, you’ll definitely want to have the directions for performing a hard reset. This is especially handy in the event that you lose or forget your password – you’d be surprised how often this happens. Please be aware that both of these methods will completely remove all custom settings and personal files from your Galaxy Note 2. If possible, you should back up all of your information before continuing. Method #1 Visit “Settings” on your Galaxy S3. Go to “Privacy”. Choose “Factory Data Reset”. Select “Reset Phone” and then “Erase Everything”. Method #2 Turn your Galaxy S3 OFF. Simultaneously press and hold the Volume Up + Home + Power buttons on your device until the Galaxy S3 logo appears, then release. Once Android system recovery loads, use the volume buttons to navigate to “Wipe data/Factory reset” and the power button to select it. Confirm your choice by selecting “Yes”. Select “Reboot System Now”.
