These steps are also great as a last resort troubleshooting method when other steps have failed to remedy the issues you’re experiencing. Method #1 is fine for those of you who can still access all of your menu options. Method #2 is for those of you who cannot use your device without encountering critical errors. Please make sure that you back up any personal information you do not wish to lose before using either of these methods. Method #1: Drag down the status bar and tap the settings icon. Select Backup & reset. Choose Factory data reset. Tap reset phone. If you’re sure you wish to continue, select Erase everything. Method #2: Connect your device to your computer via USB.
